Laser safety
The obligation to provide occupational health and safety training with lasers in categories IIIb and IV is based on Government Regulation No. 291/2015 Coll., on protection against non-ionising radiation, and is a statutory obligation for all employers.

Laser safety training
We have created our own comprehensive training programme on laser safety and the statutory obligations for safe working with lasers to help all owners and operators of laser equipment to better understand the characteristics and properties of lasers and to minimise risks when working with them. Those who pass the training will be granted a certificate entitling them to work with Class 4 lasers. Training is prepared based on the standards: EN 60825-1:2015; EN 207; ČSN 60825-4; EU Directive 2006/26/EC.
Risk assessment and safety certification
We provide a risk auditing of your laser workstation with respect to a particular application, recommended protection materials, and organisational measures. The outcome is a certificate demonstrating that risks at the workplace have been minimised and that the technical, organisational, and statutory requirements for OSH have been met. The document also assesses secondary risks, takes into account calculations of laser irradiation, contains recommended laser protection materials, an evaluation protocol, and, in particular, a laser class certificate.
OSH employee training
Interactive training in proper and safe working with lasers takes 5 hours and is focused on the statutory obligations of owners and operators, understanding the characteristics of lasers, and minimising risks. It usually takes place directly at the workplace, where capacity is limited to 8 participants. You will learn which radiation is dangerous to the skin and eyes, what secondary radiation means, how to prevent risks, and more about the proper choice of protective glasses. Those who pass the training will be granted a certificate entitling them to work with Class 4 lasers.
Protective equipment
Do you know that a large number of operators use glasses that do not actually protect them against laser radiation and so run the risk of damage to their eyesight? As a rule, safety glasses are specific to each type of laser and protect against a specific wavelength spectrum. We also offer, for example, protective screens and absorption filters certified according to European standards.
Secondary risk assessment
The elimination of secondary risks at a laser workstation. These risks can actually be much more serious than the risks of the laser itself. They often involve carcinogenic flue gases that are produced in most processes, or the long-term secondary radiation that occurs outside the main laser beam and therefore often does not receive attention.
