Laser ablation

Selective ablation is a technology that fully replaces problematic masking. Laser ablation processes are highly flexible and find applications in a variety of industries. The methods of these processes enable excellent results in surface modification, enhancement of surface properties or removal of unwanted material layers. The aim of progressive laser technologies is to ensure maximum precision, speed and minimum impact on surrounding materials, thus achieving optimum results in a wide range of applications.

Our portfolio includes several methods designed for selective ablation that we can implement in various manufacturing processes.

Laser decoating

A progressive laser method for removing painted and coated layers from interior and exterior parts to create visible 2D/3D graphics. With a high resolution of 20 µm and high repeatability of up to 50 µm, it is possible to meet various graphic design requirements for creating logos, patterns, or text.

Laser etching

A unique technology for surface treatment with thick or multiple base layers. Using a laser, selective removal of layers alters the surface's physical properties. It is commonly used in producing interior plastics for touch panels, door panels, and cockpit inserts.
